We connect unaccompanied and separated children, families fleeing violence, and other indigent Anne Arundel County residents to immigration legal counsel and related support services. Access to immigration legal services ensures the right to due process and provides hope, stability, and long term solutions to the threats of unjust deportation and family separation.

WHO WE ARE

Founded in April 2017, AIJN is a volunteer supported organization dedicated to connecting asylum seekers and other vulnerable immigrants to quality legal counsel and direct case management support. Our partners include law schools, legal firms and legal defense groups, faith organizations, and the business community.

OUR WORK

Case Management

Our case management team supports our clients as they pursue pathways to legal status. Jenny O’Neill is our full-time bilingual case manager and can be reached at 410-357-1050.

Accompaniment Program

Our accompaniment program provides transportation and moral support for federal immigration hearings, Immigration and Customs Enforcement check ins, and attorney consultations.

Legal Fund

Our legal fund provides financial assistance to families and individuals who need attorney representation to pursue legal status. We believe in the right to due process.
